Privacy Policy

A plain guide to what data we see, why your math never leaves your device, and how we keep your info safe.

This page explains how Sonotube Concrete Calculator (sonotubeconcretecalculator.com) treats your data. The site is run by Farrukh Shahzad ("we", "us" or "our"). It covers the free calculator, the tools list and every other page on this site. It does not cover other sites.

Last updated:

1. Your Math Stays on Your Device

All of the math runs in your own web browser. That includes tube volume, rebar, gravel, bag counts (40, 50, 60, 80 and 90 lb, plus 20 and 25 kg), cost and the 2D and 3D views.

We never send or store your sizes, depths, pier counts, prices or notes on any server. When you close or reload the page, your inputs are gone.

2. Data Our Servers Log on Their Own

To serve pages fast and block attacks, our web host and its network may keep basic logs. These logs can hold:

  • Basic log data: a masked IP address, your browser and its version, your device type, the page you asked for, the page you came from, the time and the status code.
  • Why we keep logs: only to send pages, fix errors, limit abuse and keep the site safe. We never link them to your name or email.
  • No tracking: we do not use fingerprint scripts, screen recorders or any other tool that follows you.

3. Data You Choose to Send Us

If you write to us through the contact form or by email (support@sonotubeconcretecalculator.com), we only get what you give us:

  • Your name;
  • Your email;
  • The topic you pick (for example a math question, a bug or an idea);
  • Your note and any job details you add.

We use this only to reply, fix bugs or build the tools you ask for. We never sell, rent or share your contact details with data brokers, ad networks or marketing firms.

4. Cookies and Local Storage

This site has no ads and no accounts. We do not use ad cookies, tracking cookies or cross-site beacons.

You can use all 106 tools and the 3D view with cookies turned off. You can block all cookies in your browser at any time. Nothing will break.

5. Other Firms We Use

To run the site for builders around the world, we use a small set of trusted firms:

  • Web host and network: sends the site files to you fast. It keeps the basic logs listed above.
  • Google Fonts (Google LLC): sends the font (Plus Jakarta Sans) that makes text easy to read. To get it, your browser asks Google's font servers for the file. See Google's Privacy Policy.
  • Contact form (FormSubmit): sends the notes from our form to our inbox. It does not keep a public list of them.

6. How Long We Keep Data

Your math runs in your browser, so we keep none of it. Not even for a second. We keep emails and form notes only as long as we need to help you. This is most often no more than 24 months. Then we delete them for good.

7. Your Rights (GDPR, UK GDPR, CCPA/CPRA)

We respect your rights, wherever you live. Laws such as the EU GDPR, the UK GDPR and the California privacy acts (CCPA and CPRA) give you the right to:

  • Ask if we hold any data about you (such as past emails);
  • Ask to see it, get a copy of it, or have it deleted for good;
  • Ask us to stop or limit how we use it;
  • Make a complaint to the data office where you live.

We have no user accounts. We do not build profiles or save what you type in the tool. So the only data we could hold is mail you sent us.

8. Children

This is a building tool for adults. It is made for builders, landscapers and home DIY fans. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 13 (or under 16 in the EU and EEA). If you think a child has sent us their data, tell us. We will delete it right away.

9. Changes to This Page

We may update this page from time to time. This can happen when the site or the law changes. We will post each change here with a new date. Please check back now and then.
